What are the best hair products to treat extremely damaged, weak hair?

I have extremely brittle, weak, damaged hair. I currently use a FHI straightener and i used Joico KPAK reconstruct shampoo and conditioners. I also use a number of other repair and protectant products but need to know of any specifics that have proven to have worked well. I just want to repair and strengthen my hair so I can grow it out without it breaking off. Please help! ThanksWhat are the best hair products to treat extremely damaged, weak hair?
Products AREN'T going to do all the work for you. You also need to make sure you are drinking lots of water eating lots of fruits and vegetables and vitamin C's. I know that might seem like its doing nothing but trust me, your hair needs the same amount of nutrients as you do! Also, you might want to go get a hair cut. Just get the ends trimmed, by doing this you will remove were most of the dead, brittle and split ends are. So get ALL your layers cut keeping the length but removing the bad hair. Make sure you get it cut every 6-8 weeks.

As for the products...

You can't believe everything people say

on the net, tv etc so instead wasting your money on rubbish, go to you hairdresser and ask what product works best and what else you can do to make your hair more healthier :]

Hmm well i was going to say just use pantene conditioner it works on some people and on some it just makes alot more than it should hair fall out but yea stop using a straightner it damages it even more and i dont think any shampoo will ever be able to catch up to its deadness and fix it so yea just stop and try a new hair style like see if it works curly on you or something then you can stop deadening your hair!! try it good answer great answer or beeeest answer lol
i used to have bad hair that was in terrible shape from my hair straitener and i started using aussie, and pantine Cant go wrong with either
