What are the best hair products to help strengthen it too keep from breaking and splitting? ?

I am in the miltary and always have my hair up. I know that is not good so I am wondering what can I use so that when I do get the chance too let it down it can look great. What are the best hair products to help strengthen it too keep from breaking and splitting? ?
what i use is paul mitchell smoothing serum.


it works amazing, especially if you straighten your hair.

Try a product called Smooth n Shine hair polisher. Its sold in the ethnic product section at Walmart and other places. You can use it on damp hair after washing(leave in) or on dry hair for shine and less dryness. It help keep hair from breaking and splitting. It also leaves a nice shine and smells good. Also when you do put your hair up try not to use ponytail holders with metal in them, they will damage hair. Dont use product containing alcohol, it will dry out your hair too. Make sure you are using a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner as well. Keep heat styling to a minimum if possible.
most shampoos have a strengthining formula. use that but also do NOT use any gel, hairspray, mousse, etc etc etc. also wash every other day or less to retain the natural oil in your hair. you might also take some gelatin capsules. geletain is very good for the hair



The best thing to keep your hair from not splitting or breaking, isn't a product..It's getting your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks.
